Mr. Robert J.
McConnachie, CFA MBA, is a Managing Director at Cypress Capital Management Ltd. (Canada).
He joined the firm in 2017.
Mr. McConnachie began his investment management career as an Equity Analyst in 1993 and went on to become a Co-Director and then Director of Research.
He moved to Scotia Capital Markets in 1997 as a Research Analyst and Director where he became Special Situations Analyst by Brendon Woods.
From 2000-2003, he was a Portfolio Manager at Deans Knight Capital specializing in small capitalization stocks and high yield bonds.
He joined Dixon Mitchell Investment Counsel as Chief Investment Officer in 2003 where he formulated and oversaw the equity and fixed income investment strategies until 2014.
He received his BA in Economics from the University of Victoria in 1989 and completed his M.B.A. at the University of Western Ontario (Ivey Business School) in 1991.
He has been a CFA Charter Holder since 2000.
