Vanderveen is currently an Independent Director at Mylan, Inc. Prior to that, he was a Professor & Dean at Duquesne University of The Holy Spirit from 1998 to 2005, and an Associate Professor & Assistant Dean at Oregon State University from 1988 to 1998.
He was also a Professor & Dean at the USC School of Pharmacy from 2005 to 2015, and a Professor-Pharmaceutical Policy & Economics at the Leonard D Schaeffer Center For Health Policy & Economics.
Dr. Vanderveen holds a doctorate degree from Michigan State University and undergraduate and graduate degrees from Purdue University.
