Before joining CNH, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Iveco, a sector of Fiat Group, beginning in 1996.
In addition to his position as CFO, he additonally served as CEO for Transolver, Iveco's financial services business.
From 1989 to 1996, he was CFO of France-based Framatome Group, where he was responsible for finance, legal and strategic planning.
Before joining Framatome Group, he was CFO at CertainTeed Corporation in the U.S.
from 1984 to 1989.
He received a masters degree in business in 1971 from Hautes Etudes Commercials in France.
