Michel Burnier

Michel Burnier is currently the Deputy Chairman-Executive Board at Speedel Pharma AG, Director at Vifor Pharma Management AG, Treasurer at the European Research Council, and a Member of both the Swiss Society of Nephrology and the Swiss Society of Hypertension.
He is also the Head-Nephrology at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois.
In the past, Dr. Burnier worked as a Director at Vifor Pharma AG from 2010 to 2013, as the Director of Swissmedic from 2002 to 2010, and as an Independent Director at Galenica AG from 2017 to 2023.
