Michael Schall

Presently, Michael J. Schall holds the position of President, Chief Executive Officer & Director at Essex Property Trust, Inc. and President, Chief Executive Officer & Director at Essex Portfolio LP (a subsidiary of Essex Property Trust, Inc.). Mr. Schall is also on the board of Pebblebrook Hotel Trust and National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, Inc. and Member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Member of National Multifamily Housing Council and Director-Emeritus at Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County. He received an undergraduate degree from the University of San Francisco.
