Prior to joining Ometric, he was an Associate Professor of Chemistry at the University of South Carolina from 1991 to 1998.

Dr. Myrick received a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from North Carolina State University and a PhD in Physical Chemistry from New Mexico State University.
