Mr. Matthew M.
Willey is a Senior Managing Director, Portfolio Manager & Head of Quantitative Research at PPM America, Inc. Mr. Willey is responsible for investment and allocation decisions for several of the firm’s fixed income strategies, including low duration, core fixed income, investment grade credit and credit which are managed on behalf of investors globally.
In his role as head of quantitative research, he is responsible for portfolio risk, infrastructure maintenance and portfolio strategy.
Prior to joining PPM in 2003, Mr. Willey was an audit manager at Ernst & Young LLP where he focused primarily on the financial services industry.
His client base was largely composed of hedge funds, banks and insurance companies.
He earned a master’s degree in financial mathematics from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ohio University.
Mr. Willey is a CFA charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
