Mathew Fernley

Mr. Mathew Fernley is an Analyst at Haitong Securities (UK) Ltd. Prior to this, he was employed as a Research Analyst by GMP Securities Europe LLP.
He joined GMP Europe in July 2008 having spent the previous two years as a Buy-side Equity Analyst at two hedge funds covering global resources, materials and industrials.
From 1999 to 2006, he specialized in materials & mining, chemicals and paper equities.
He trained as an Exploration & Mining Geologist.
Mr. Fernley holds a Master's degree in Mineral Deposit Evaluation from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geochemistry from the University of St Andrews.
