Mathew Deering

Mat Deering joined TDC in 2021, following a period of working with TDC as Chairman of Fund II investment Edam Group.
As Operating Partner, Mat’s role focuses on supporting value enhancement across the TDC investment portfolio, leveraging his significant Board experience to take on Board Director and Observer roles across a number of investments and providing portfolio oversight and advice to the TDC Investment Committee.
Career History Mat’s career spans 24 years and he has a wealth of experience in the private equity and corporate advisory space, having started his career at EY before going on to become an original team member and Partner at private equity investor Endless LLP.
In his role at Endless, Mat led their North West office and was responsible for well over 20 investments, originating and leading new investments as well as taking on Board roles across a wide range of industry sectors.
On departing Endless in October 2019, Mat acted as Executive Chairman of TDC portfolio company, EDAM Group, as well as undertaking a number of other Non-Executive and Board Advisory roles via his advisory consultancy Remedy Board Advisory.
Personal In his spare time, Mat enjoys playing and needlessly collecting guitars, running and exercise and providing a taxi service to football and cricket matches for his two sons.
