Each fund has a specific investment policy but all funds are bound by the ethical investment guidelines of UCA. As a socially responsible investor, the firm excludes investments in non-socially responsible industries and seeks to invest in companies which promote human welfare, dignity and respect and the general good such as Clean Energy, Sustainable Agriculture, Recycling and Reuse, Employment, Community and Education Services, and Healthcare. U Ethical also encourages investment in companies producing goods or services, which enhance the health and welfare of individuals and communities, and preserve the environment.

MFCo focuses on the long-term and emphasizes risk management while aiming to balance capital preservation, growth and income. They combine asset protection and investment management into an integrated approach. They emphasize the role of asset allocation strategies in their investment process. They invest directly and indirectly across asset classes in bonds, commodities, derivatives, hedge funds, real estate, structured products, equity, private equity and mutual funds. In terms of direct investments they have invested in sectors such as property management services and commercial property development.
