Profile

Prior to working with Dave Marquardt and John Johnston to found August Capital, Mr. Wilson had been administrative partner at Technology Venture Investors (TVI).
He joined TVI in 1985 and continues to serve in that capacity on a part-time basis for the TVI partnerships.
Prior to Mr. Wilson's venture capital career, he served as CFO and general counsel for two venture-backed Silicon Valley computer companies, Synapse Computer and System Industries.
He was also a lawyer in private practice and a pharmaceutical industry process engineer.
Mr. Wilson holds a JD from Stanford University (1976) and a BSChE from the University of California at Berkeley (1970).
