Mr. Luiz Cláudio do Nascimento holds a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, MBA from COPPEAD/ Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and an AMP from Harvard Business School.
Nascimento began his career as a banker at Banco Garantia, current Credit Suisse in Brazil.
From 1989 to 2004 he worked for and became partner of Brahma/ AmBev/ Inbev.
Mr. Luiz Cláudio do Nascimento run different areas of the company, as Plant Manager, Director of Supply Chain and later on as CEO for Brahma/AmBev in Argentina.
From 2004 to 2006 Mr. Nascimento was the CEO of Gafisa, a real estate company.
In Gafisa, he was responsible for the company’s turn-around process, for the development and execution of a partnership program with Equity International (Sam Zell) and for its IPO process.
In 2007, Mr. Luiz Cláudio do Nascimento was involved in the acquisition, restructuring and IPO processes of Construtora Tenda, a low income residential homebuilder.
Currently, Mr. Luiz Cláudio do Nascimento acts as Board Member of Nutriplant, on the agribusiness industry.
He is also Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Galicia Investimentos.
