Prior to joining Evercore, Ms. Bergin had spent over a decade at J.P.
Morgan Securities or one of its predecessor firms.
Most recently, she was part of the firm’s restructuring group where she advised and led financings for bankrupt, distressed or highly leveraged companies.
Former clients include United Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Oglebay Norton, Federal Mogul, Republic Engineered Products, Evergreen International Airlines and Harnischfeger.
Prior to joining the restructuring group in 2001, she was part of the leveraged finance team at J.P.
Morgan, working both in New York and London on a variety of industries and trasactions ranging from telecom build-out to leveraged buyout.
Ms. Bergin earned a BSBA in Finance and English from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College in 1995 and MBA from Columbia University in 2004.
