Kelvin Lau

Mr. Kelvin Lau is Senior Economist at Standard Chartered Securities (Hong Kong) Ltd. He joined Standard Chartered Securities in September 2000.
He covers Greater China, specialising in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta.
His key research areas include the structural and cyclical performance of Hong Kong and the PRD, the Hong Kong dollar regime, Hong Kong-China integration, and the internationalisation of the Chinese yuan.
He also explores the outlook for Asian inflation, monetary policy, external trade and politics.
Prior to joining Standard Chartered Bank, he spent a year with KPMG as an auditor.
Mr. Lau graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
