Municipal Portfolio Managers specializes in the discretionary management of municipal bond portfolios. Investments may also include mutual fund shares, such as money market funds invested in municipal securities or US government securities and its agencies. The investment strategies used to implement any investment advice given to clients include, but is not limited to, the average credit quality of bonds to be in the portfolio, average effective maturity of the bonds for the portfolio, certain tax considerations such as AMT (alternative minimum tax), state of residence for tax purposes and capital gain/loss considerations, long-term purchases and short-term purchases.
