CCM is a value manager that uses fundamental stock picking and sector-based trading. They employ a combination of top-down and bottom-up analysis to seek primarily US large-cap stocks. For long positions, the firm seeks stocks with competitive advantages, low valuations, solid business models and strong management. For core short positions, CCM seeks stocks with low competitive advantages, high valuations relative to the market or sector and weak management.
