Jonathan Green

Dr. Jonathan Green is a Director at CommonAngels, Inc. He is co-founder and a Managing Director of Arcadia Funds, LLC.
He is also Chairman of inStream Media, Inc. Additionally, he serves as Chairman of the Board of Cambria Pharmaceuticals, Inc. As an advisor and strategy consultant to emerging technology companies and their CEOs, he is also an active mentor to aspiring entrepreneurs with MIT’s Venture Mentoring Service.
He also serves on the North American Executive Board, and also on the Board of Overseers of WGBH (television, radio and the web).
Previously, Mr. Green was CEO and Chairman of HighPoint Systems, Inc. that he founded in 1993.
Prior to HighPoint, he spent ten years developing technologies for advanced electronics at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, MA. He holds six patents; his more than forty publications include two book chapters and various meeting speeches, covering the diverse areas of solid-state electronics, signal processing, and enterprise software and computer systems for e-commerce.
Active in civic affairs, Mr. Green is a past Chair and current member of the Town of Belmont’s (MA) Information Technology Advisory Committee, and its Cable Television Advisory Committee.
He is also co-founder, past-Chairman and current member of the Board of Directors of the Belmont Community Media Center, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring public access to electronic media.
Mr. Green has been awarded both the Ph.D.
and M.S.
degrees in Applied Physics from Stanford University, as well as the S.B. degree in Physics from MIT.
Rounding out his real-world business experiences, he also holds an M.S.
degree from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
