Hermine Vidovic

Ms. Hermine Vidovic is a Senior Research Associate at The Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies.
Her research focuses on labor markets, social policy, and migration.
She has been working on several studies for DG Employment (e.g., contributed to studies on labor mobility in the context of enlargement, on activation policies in the Western Balkans, or the analysis supporting the evaluation of the council recommendation on the integration of long-term unemployed into the labor market), the RCC on labor mobility in the Western Balkans, the ILO, and Austrian authorities.
She was a member of the pool of experts for the European Job Mobility Laboratory (2010-2013).
She is leading the project on the ‘SEE Jobs Gateway Database’ and the lead author of the Western Balkans Labor Market Trends report, conducted in cooperation with the World Bank.
Ms. Vidovic obtained her M.A. degree in Economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
