The team manages both long-only and long-short equity portfolios, which are structured to benefit from the team's UK equity market experience. The Global Opportunities Team, based in London and Singapore, manages a global long-short equity portfolio with a macro overlay. They specialize in European and Asian investments, utilizing their experience and network of local contacts. NAM's Private Equity Team makes highly selective and opportunistic investments in predominantly small- to mid-cap private companies. The European Credit Team has trading experience in cash, derivatives and structured products in the fixed-income, currency and credit markets. Their investment approach is research-driven, with emphasis on credit picking and quantitative analysis to identify value across the full range of products in credit markets. They utilize credit derivatives in pursuit of non-directional trading strategies. The team manages an active, diversified European credit portfolio which was launched in 2004
