George Schneer

Mr. George Schneer is Chairman at Ethertronics, Inc., Executive-in-Residence at Sevin Rosen Funds Management Co., and Venture Partner at Horizon Ventures LLC.
Mr. Schneer was Interim CEO at Discera, Inc., a MEMS oscillator start-up which is a portfolio company of Horizon Ventures.
He has also worked with Market Tools Inc., for which he served on the Board and secured seed venture capital funding as a member of the Band of Angels.
He held several executive positions while at Intel Corp.
He was also a founding Director of Sematech, the industry consortium, and represented Intel on the Sematech Board of Directors.
Previously he spent several years in research and development at Bell Telephone Laboratories.
He has also been an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association in the area of technology business.
He has over 35 years of experience in technology business.
Mr. Schneer received his BSEE from Bucknell University, an MSEE from the University of Southern California and an MS in Physics from Lehigh University.
