Frans Putker moved to Favonius mid-2006 as part of the team which is managing the ABN AMRO IT portfolio, he also assumes responsibility for a number of the Favonius portfolio companies, including Board positions.
In 2000 Mr Putker joined ABN AMRO Capital where he was part of the newly founded IT team.
In that capacity he was responsible for the whole range of investment management activities such as the sourcing of deals, structuring and leading of investments, arranging add-on financings for portfolio companies, acting in Boards of portfolio companies and subsequent selling of the companies.
Before joining ABN AMRO Capital Mr Putker worked from 1994 to 2000 at the Corporate Banking Department of ABN AMRO in Amsterdam.
Mr Putker’s professional career began in 1990 at ABN AMRO Bank N.V.
in the Netherlands.
After an extensive Management Trainee Program he started in 1991 in the Project Finance Department based in Amsterdam where he worked in the Natural Resources team.
He graduated with a Master’s Degree in Economics from Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands in 1988.
