Mr. Eric B. Upin is Senior Partner & Former Chief Investment Officer at Makena Capital Management LLC.
He is on the Board of Directors at Bulger Partners LLC.
Prior to joining Makena Capital Management in 2009, Mr. Upin served as CEO of Sequoia Capital’s Heritage Endowment Fund.
Previously, he was the Chief Investment Officer at Stanford University’s Stanford Management Company.
Before joining the Stanford Management Company, he served as a Managing Director and Senior Equity Research Analyst at investment banking firm Robertson Stephens and later as the Director of Technology Research at Wells Fargo Securities.
Mr. Upin received his BA in Economics and Urban Planning from Washington University in St. Louis and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
