Taliaferro has been Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of General Cable Corp.
since August 2005.
She joined Carol Cable in 1991 as Vice President of Operations Analysis and Inventory Management.
Ms. Taliaferro joined Penn Central Corporation in 1983 as Senior Analyst of Corporate Development and was appointed Director of Financial Controls in 1986.
She was appointed Controller for the Consumer Products Group of General Cable in 1992, Director of Systems Analysis in 1994, Senior Vice President of Customer Integration and Supply Chain in 1998, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Industrial and Specialty Products in February 2002 and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Information Technology in November 2004.
Ms. Taliaferro had been Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Information Technology for General Cable Corp.
since November 2004.
She received a BA degree from Smith College and an MBA from Harvard University.
