Deborah Koplik

Ms. Deborah Koplik, CFA, is a Director of Portfolio Strategy at Comerica Bank.
She joined Comerica Wealth Management as Senior Vice President and Florida Regional Investment Strategist in August 2010.
She assumed responsibility for Texas in December 2012, heading the team of investment strategists in Florida and Texas providing direction on portfolio structure and management.
In 2016, her role shifted to Manager of the Trust Investment Advisory platform, with a focus on platform development and practice management.
In 2022, she became Director of Portfolio Strategy, working under Comerica’s Chief Investment Officer, on investment strategy, new product due diligence, asset allocation guidelines and alignment of uniform portfolio structure at a national level.
Throughout her tenure with Comerica, Ms. Koplik has continued to advise on trust and portfolio strategy for select high net worth family relationships.
She has over 38 years of experience in the financial services industry, with the last 28 years focusing on managing trusts and portfolios for high net worth individuals.
Her experience includes over 10 years with U.S.
Trust Company as a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager in their Palm Beach office.
Prior to U.S.
Trust, Ms. Koplik was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager with Northern Trust for five years on Florida’s west coast.
She began her career as an equity options trader with Salomon Brothers, and subsequently worked in Houston for over seven years for an institutional money manager as an Equity Analyst, Derivatives Strategist and Portfolio Manager of institutional mutual and pension funds.
Ms. Koplik earned her Masters of Business in Finance from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and holds a MSc in Political Philosophy from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kent at Canterbury.
In addition, she carries the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst.
