Grimes is an active manager that combines traditional long-term investment approaches and cutting edge trading strategies to create customized, client-specific investment solutions. The firm primarily allocates client investment assets among various no-load and/or load-waived mutual fund classes and/or individual debt and equity securities, and, on a limited basis, independent managers, on a discretionary basis in accordance with the client’s designated investment objective(s). Grimes uses bottom-up quantitative modeling based on fundamentals, valuations, risk statistics and trend measures for their security selection process. Portfolio Managers rely on these tools to assist with the qualitative decision making and implementation.
