David Johnson

Mr. David Johnson is an Head of Research at Allenby Capital Ltd. He has over more than 17 years experience covering the TMT sector and smaller companies in general and has been heavily involved in IPOs, secondary raises and M&A both on AIM and the Official List.
Having spent five years as a technology journalist, he joined the City in 1998 working initially for Beeson Gregory and subsequently for Altium Capital and Daniel Stewart as a TMT analyst before joining St Helens Capital as Head of Research.
He joined Allenby in April 2016 as a director in research from Northland Capital Partners where he had been Head of Research for the past six years.
He was previously employed as a Research Analyst by Astaire Securities Plc, a Head of Research by Northland Capital Partners Ltd., an Analyst by Evolution Beeson Gregory Ltd., and a Head of Research by St. Helen's Capital Plc (Broker).
He is a graduate of the University of Cambridge with an MA in English Literature.
