ITP-Management is a hands-on manager which invests in ICT companies primarily in the Benelux and surrounding countries. They also consider investments in other European countries, Israel and the US, participating in a syndicate where a local venture company takes the lead. The firm invests in early-stage and more mature companies, seeking to invest in those with a clearly demonstrable and growing market potential, wide (preferably global) market appeal, a qualified management team and protected technology offering competitive advantages versus alternative products. ITP-Management takes minority stakes in their investee companies, aiming to be a supportive partner of the management team, a sounding board and an extension of the company's network. When they lead a syndicate, they require a seat on the investee company board of directors. For all their investments, they seek to divide the total investment into a series of staggered steps. The firm provides their investee companies with a range of support activities including helping to make strategic decisions, recruiting key personnel, organizing mergers, acquisitions, licensing or co-operation agreements and financing the growth of the enterprise. From the beginning of their investment, ITP-Management pro-actively determines an exit strategy with the board and other shareholders of the investee company. While they prefer to exit investments through an IPO, they also consider other exit possibilities.
