Walseth is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Conseco, Inc., which he joined in April 2006.
He is a Chartered Life Underwriter and a Chartered Financial Consultant from American College.
Mr. Walseth is a Member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association, the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Association of Life Insurance Counsel and the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
Previously, he worked with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and Lutheran Brotherhood Fraternal Benefit Society for 8 years.
Mr. Walseth was Vice President and a Senior Associate General Counsel of Thrivent Financial, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Lutheran Brotherhood.
He held various senior positions with Hartford Life Insurance Companies for 21 years.
Mr. Walseth received a JD degree from the University of Minnesota and a BA from St. Olaf College.
