Damien Choplain

Mr. Damien Choplain is a Managing Director & Co-head of European Healthcare & Technology Research at Stifel Europe Ltd. He joined the firm in 2025.
He holds nearly 15 years of experience in equity research and strategic advisory across the healthcare sector.
Most recently, Mr. Choplain served as Senior Pharma/Biotech Analyst at Oddo BHF, following four years at Kepler Cheuvreux covering a broad universe of European healthcare names.
Before this, he worked at Gilbert Dupont (Société Générale CIB) and Bionest Partners, where he advised on multiple biotech and medtech transactions.
He earned a master’s degree in chemistry from CPE Lyon and a Specialized Master’s in Corporate Finance from Emlyon Business School.
