Charles McIntyre

Charles Alexander McIntyre is the founder of IBIS Capital Ltd., which was founded in 2003, where he holds the title of CEO.
He is also the founder of Edtech Global Ltd., founded in 2013, where he serves as Chairman.
In addition, McIntyre is the founder of EdtechX Holdings Acquisition Corp., founded in 2018, where he held the title of Executive Chairman & Chief Investment Officer.
Currently, McIntyre holds several positions.
Since 2013, he has been Chairman of Immerse Learning Ltd. He is also Chairman of Learnlight Holdings Ltd. since 2017.
In 2020, he became Chairman & Chief Investment Officer of EdtechX Holdings Acquisition Corp.

Additionally, since 2006, he has been a Non-Executive Director of IBIS Media VCT 1 Plc.
McIntyre is also a Director of Immerse Ltd. and Aventis Media Holdings Ltd. In the past, McIntyre served as Chairman of James Grant Media Group Ltd. from 2013 to 2014.
From 1991 to 2001, he worked as a Director at Apax Corporate Finance & Securities.
He was a Non-Executive Director of Mama & Co. Ltd. from 2005 to 2010 and again from 2002 to 2010.
McIntyre also served as a Non-Executive Director of Masher Technologies Ltd. from 2008 to 2013.
He held the position of Non-Executive Director at Futurelex Ltd., Phoenix Media Ltd., Contagious Communications Ltd., and Ginx TV Ltd. He was an Independent Director at BTC Digital Ltd. from 2020 to 2021.
McIntyre was also a Partner at IBIS Capital Partners LLP.
McIntyre obtained his undergraduate degree from the London School of Economics & Political Science in 1991.
