Cees L. Janssen

Cees L.A. Janssen is responsible for the day-to-day management of NAVITAS Capital.
He was appointed on 1 January 2006 and manages the investment company with the help of a small team.
Cees has extensive knowledge and experience of the banking sector, accounting and corporate finance in a very wide range of different sectors.

A. Janssen is qualified as a 'Registeraccountant' and 'Register Valuator'.
After his studies, he worked from 1986 to 1989 as an adviser in the Special Management department of Bank Mees & Hope.
He then worked for some years in accountancy at BDO, including as an auditor.
Cees was one of the founders of BDO Corporate Finance.
Partly under his management, this organisation grew in just a few years to become the leading consultancy for mergers, acquisitions and valuation issues in the Dutch medium-sized enterprise segment.
In recent years, he has worked on mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs, financing issues, share valuations, corporate recovery and arbitrage.
From 1997 until 2006, he served as a director and branch manager of BDO Corporate Finance and as a partner in BDO in the Netherlands.
Cees Janssen won the Best Acquisition prize in 1999, with the sale of SVIANED (a subsidiary of GAK Holding) to Versatel Telecom International.
Since 2000, he also conducts interviews for the Management Scope monthly magazine.
