Mr. Carl D.
Howe is Vice President of Research & Data Sciences at 451 Research LLC.
Mr. Howe joined 451 Research in July 2014 with the integration of Yankee Group.
Before joining Yankee Group, he and Joe Butt co-founded Blackfriars Communications to advise companies in complex industries on how to distill, communicate and deliver their value.
Prior to founding Blackfriars, he directed Forrester's research in networking, computing and infrastructure, and was also a principal analyst.
Prior to Forrester, Mr. Howe spent 18 years at BBN Corp., where he helped develop operating systems for some of the largest parallel processors in the world and researched wearable computers, desktop video conferencing and distributed systems.
In addition, he helped firms including MasterCard, Wang and National Westminster Bank deploy early internets.
Mr. Howe holds a S.B. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has served on the faculty of MIT and Wellesley College.
