Vinovo is a long-term private equity investor. Their investment strategy focuses on operational businesses which display proven profitability and good cash flows. Although they have no sector preferences, they have invested particularly in infrastructure, energy, environmental technology and health care industries. They look for small to medium-sized firms, based in Sweden and the rest of the Nordic region, with unique positions in their market sectors. Vinovo is an active owner. They seek to create value for their shareholders and work closely with the portfolio firms' management teams. In addition to capital, they provide their expertise for developing expansion strategies (organic growth and through acquisitions), identifying, structuring and carrying out acquisitions. The firm prefers to take majority stakes and votes in their portfolio firms. They actively participate on their investee firms' Boards. In some cases, Vinovo also considers smaller share acquisitions. Vinovo does not have a defined exit strategy for their holdings.
