RDD is an active manager which invests in start-ups, transmissions and expansion of small and medium-sized industrial enterprises or industrial services located in the Rhone-Alpes, Auvergne and Burgundy regions of France. The firm typically invests EUR 30,000-150,000 as sole investor in small companies with EUR 1-5 million of sales, and up to EUR 1 million in partnership with other venture capital companies for larger transactions. RDD always takes minority stakes in their investee companies, partnering with management to support the implementation of their business plan. Two investment committees composed of business leaders make the firm's investment decisions.
