UBS AG appointed Matthew Odgers as head of its Middle East and North Africa investment banking division. UBS moved Odgers to Dubai from London in 2008, along with five other executives. He will head UBS's advisory and client coverage business in the region. Christopher Niehaus, who moved to London earlier in 2012, was previously in charge of UBS's investment banking operations in the region, including equities trading and fixed income, which will now be headed by Tony Illiya, UBS's CEO for the Middle East and North Africa.
