Taiwan Wax Company,Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 168.184 million compared to TWD 92.172 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 14.207 million compared to TWD 5.196 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 7.911 million compared to TWD 13.828 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.11 compared to TWD 0.2 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 272.219 million compared to TWD 199.446 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 21.846 million compared to TWD 17.070 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 10.322 million compared to TWD 15.015 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.15 compared to TWD 0.21 a year ago.
TAIWAN WAX COMPANY, LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of waxes. The Company provides soft waxes, hard waxes, Vaseline materials and products, as well as formulated waxes and chemical products used for wax manufacturing. Its products include refined waxes, microcrystalline waxes, intermediate waxes, oil waxes and others. The wax products are mainly applied in the manufacture of candles, damp proof coatings for cartons, crayons, rubber additives and insulating materials for electronics and others. The Company also provides leasing service. The Company distributes its products within Taiwan market and to the rest of Asia, the Americas and Australia.
