Taiwan Wax Company,Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 126.75 million compared to TWD 168.18 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 35.15 million compared to TWD 7.91 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.383 compared to TWD 0.0957 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 267.4 million compared to TWD 272.22 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 46.09 million compared to TWD 10.32 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.5048 compared to TWD 0.1306 a year ago.
TAIWAN WAX COMPANY, LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of waxes. The Company provides soft waxes, hard waxes, Vaseline materials and products, as well as formulated waxes and chemical products used for wax manufacturing. Its products include refined waxes, microcrystalline waxes, intermediate waxes, oil waxes and others. The wax products are mainly applied in the manufacture of candles, damp proof coatings for cartons, crayons, rubber additives and insulating materials for electronics and others. The Company also provides leasing service. The Company distributes its products within Taiwan market and to the rest of Asia, the Americas and Australia.
