In a note, the group, which includes the Fiat, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, Peugeot, Opel/Vauxhall, Citroen, and Ds brands, among others, points out that it has consolidated its second-place sales ranking in this area, which groups the 27 EU member countries plus Switzerland and the United Kingdom, and that it has leadership in the commercial vehicle market, having closed 2023 with a 15 percent sales increase over 2022 and a market share of more than 30 percent.

Stellantis then records its European leadership in electric car sales, in 2023 growing 14 percent over 2022, with a market share of 14.2 percent.

In the note, Stellantis details the results in the main European markets, with sales up over last year by +2.2% in France, +5% in Germany, +10.6% in Italy, +3.5% in Spain, +16.8% in the UK, and reporting positive results in the rest of Europe as well, with significant growth in Belux, Ireland, Portugal and Switzerland.
