ESSEN (dpa-AFX) - The energy group RWE has been awarded the contract for a wind farm in Japan for the first time. Together with two partner companies, a wind farm of 684 megawatts is to be developed, built and operated off the west coast of Japan, the company announced in Essen on Wednesday. The wind farm in Niigata Prefecture is expected to consist of 38 wind turbines.
