The board of directors of China Automobile New Retail (Holdings) Limited (the Company) announced that Mr. Pun Kam Wai Peter (Mr. Pun), due to his retirement, has resigned as the company secretary of the Company and ceased to act as an authorised representative of the Company for the purpose of Rule 3.05 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities (the Listing Rules) on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the Stock Exchange) and an authorised representative of the Company for accepting service of process or notice in Hong Kong under Part 16 of the Companies Ordinance (Chapter 622 of the Laws of Hong Kong) (the Authorised Representative), with effect from 16 March 2021. Mr. Pun has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and there is no matter relating to his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company or the Stock Exchange. Following the resignation of Mr. Pun, the Board announces that Ms. Pang Yuen Shan Christina (Ms. Pang) has been appointed as the company secretary and the Authorised Representative of the Company, both with effect from 16 March 2021. Ms. Pang meets the requirements under Rule 3.28 and 8.17 of the Listing Rules. Ms. Pang is a solicitor qualified in Hong Kong. Ms. Pang was admitted as a solicitor in 1999 and is currently a solicitor and work in private practice. Ms. Pang has over 15 years of experience in corporate secretarial practice. She is now an independent non-executive director of Speedy Global Holdings Limited.
