LEGRAND : Four new appointments to Legrand Executive Committee

Regulatory News:

At the suggestion of Gilles Schnepp, Legrand's (Paris:LR) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, the Group's Executive Committee was expanded from 7 to 11 members effective January 1, 2012.

The new members are Antoine Burel, Group Vice President and Chief Financial Officer; Benoît Coquart, Group Vice President Strategy and Development; Xavier Couturier, Group Vice President Human Resources; and Fabrizio Fabrizi, Group Vice President Commercial Systems & Infrastructure Division. Each will draw on over 15 years of experience with the Group to contribute to Legrand's development, working alongside the seven current members.

In addition to Gilles Schnepp, Legrand's Executive Committee had previously been composed of Xavier de Froment, Group Vice President France; Jean-Paul Leduc, Group Vice President Export; Paolo Perino, President and Chief Executive Officer of BTicino; John Selldorff, President and Chief Executive Officer of Legrand North America; Patrice Soudan, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Group Vice President Wiring Devices and Home Systems Division; Philippe Weber, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Group Vice President Energy Distribution and Industrial Applications Division.

The Executive Committee of Legrand is in charge of managing sustainable and profitable growth for the Group.

Antoine Burel, Group Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Born on December 22, 1962, Antoine Burel joined the Group in 1993 as Finance Controller and later became Chief Financial Officer at Legrand Normandie. After gaining experience at several subsidiaries, he was appointed to head up Group Finance Control in 2005. Antoine Burel was named Group Chief Financial Officer in January 2008.

Benoît Coquart, Group Vice President Strategy and Development

Born on November 30, 1973, Benoît Coquart joined Legrand in 1997 to manage the Group's representative office in Seoul, before moving on to serve as Investor Relations Advisor (1998), Head of Group External Communication (2002) and then Head of Marketing Wiring Devices and Home Systems (2006). In 2007, he was appointed to head the Corporate Development unit, and in 2010, he became Group Vice President for Strategy and Development.

Xavier Couturier, Group Vice President Human Resources

Born on December 9, 1964, Xavier Couturier joined Legrand in 1988 as Internal Organization Consultant and went on to hold various positions in the Human Resources department, as Limousin HR Assistant (1989), Head of Executive Career Management France (1996), and Head of Management Development (2002). In 2004, he also took on responsibility for Group Training. In 2008, he was appointed Group Vice President Human Resources.

Fabrizio Fabrizi, Group Vice President Commercial Systems & Infrastructures

Born on October 20, 1951, Fabrizio Fabrizi has been with Legrand since 1989, when BTicino became part of the Group. He had joined BTicino in 1977, serving as Design Office Manager (1984), Vice President Product Development (1987) and Vice President Marketing and Product Development (1999). In 2008, he was appointed Group Vice President Building Management Division, and in 2010 became Group Vice President Commercial Systems and Infrastructure Division.
