Hyundai Motor Company is launching its Ioniq in India. The vehicle is to arrive at Indian dealerships in late 2017 or early 2018. The model will be available with a choice of three engines, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric. The Indian version is likely to be equipped with plug-in hybrid set-up, which generates 61 paisa of power via the electric motor and 105 paisa of power from the 1.6-litre petrol engine. It is likely to be a front-wheel drive and feature a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
