General Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 714.339 million compared to TWD 1,631.588 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 133.201 million compared to operating Income of TWD 98.857 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 22.614 million compared to net income of TWD 85.281 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.18 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.67 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was TWD 2,053.015 million compared to TWD 3,328.129 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 45.333 million compared to operating Income of TWD 244.983 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 23.138 million compared to TWD 188.621 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.18 compared to TWD 1.48 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.18 compared to TWD 1.47 a year ago.

The Operation of Tourist Hotels segment is mainly engaged in the arrangement of accommodation, catering and other business travel related businesses. The Company is also engaged in the sales of raw materials and accessories of toner cartridges. The Company mainly distributes its products in domestic market and overseas markets, including the United States of America (the USA), the United Kingdom (the UK), Germany, the Mainland China and others.
