General Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the full year ended December 31, 2020. For the full year, the company announced sales was TWD 4,239.384 million compared to TWD 6,294.771 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 61.914 million compared to TWD 469.235 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 148.632 million compared to TWD 352.096 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.16 compared to TWD 2.76 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.16 compared to TWD 2.74 a year ago.
GENERAL PLASTIC INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and distribution of toner cartridges. The Company mainly operates through two business segments. The Operation of Machine Supplies segment is mainly engaged in the research and development, manufacture and sales of photocopiers cartridges, printer cartridges and photosensitive drum gears. The Operation of Tourist Hotels segment is mainly engaged in the arrangement of accommodation, catering and other business travel related businesses. The Company is also engaged in the sales of raw materials and accessories of toner cartridges. The Company mainly distributes its products in domestic market and overseas markets, including the United States of America (the USA), the United Kingdom (the UK), Germany, the Mainland China and others.
