Fu Ta Material Technology Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 23.855 million compared to TWD 29.061 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 10.224 million compared to TWD 14.155 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 15.354 million compared to TWD 32.020 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.33 compared to TWD 0.69 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 94.284 million compared to TWD 121.220 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 27.230 million compared to TWD 37.771 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 33.250 million compared to net income of TWD 329.669 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.72 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 7.37 a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.72 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 7.17 a year ago.
Fu Ta Material Technology Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the production and distribution of nylon yarns. The Company operates its businesses through three segments. The Spun Yarn segment is engaged in the production and sales of cotton yarns, artificial cotton yarns, blended yarns and synthetic fiber yarns. The Grey Cloth segment is engaged in the production, processing and trading of cotton fabrics, artificial silk fabrics, blended grey cloth and artificial grey cloth. The Electronic Material segment is engaged in the recycling of solar energy materials, such as silicon wafers and others. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
