Fu Ta Material Technology Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 44.24 million compared to TWD 39.1 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 6.32 million compared to net loss of TWD 16.87 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.14 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.37 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 91.33 million compared to TWD 66.4 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 2.84 million compared to TWD 23.85 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.06 compared to TWD 0.52 a year ago.
Fu Ta Material Technology Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the production and distribution of nylon yarns. The Company operates its businesses through three segments. The Spun Yarn segment is engaged in the production and sales of cotton yarns, artificial cotton yarns, blended yarns and synthetic fiber yarns. The Grey Cloth segment is engaged in the production, processing and trading of cotton fabrics, artificial silk fabrics, blended grey cloth and artificial grey cloth. The Electronic Material segment is engaged in the recycling of solar energy materials, such as silicon wafers and others. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
