Business description: Financiera Confianza S.A.A.

Financiera Confianza SAA, formerly Caja Rural de Ahorro y Credito Nuestra Gente SAA (Caja Nuestra Gente), is a Peru-based company engaged in the financial sector. The Company was created as the result of an absorption by Caja Rural de Ahorro y Credito Nor Peru SA of the saving banks Caja Rural de Ahorro y Credito del Sur SAA and Edpyme Crear Tacna SA. The Company mainly specializes in the financial intermediation, including credits, for individuals, small and micro sized companies, which contribute to the sustainable development of rural activities in Peru. As of December 31, 2011, Fundacion Microfinanzas BBVA was the Companyâ€™s majority shareholder with 80.8% of total share capital. In addition, the Company held a 62.61% stake in Inversion Financiera Confianza SA.
