Diagnostics company Devyser has launched the Devyser Thalassemia v2 analytical test, an NGS-based test for the genetic analysis of thalassemia and sickle cell disease, which the company claims is the first on the European market to meet the requirements of the IVDR regulation.

The test analyzes mutations in the HBA1, HBA2, and HBB genes and is intended to be used for diagnosis and carrier screening of hereditary blood disorders. This information was provided in a press release.
