Visiomed announced on Monday that the wellness business of its Dubai-based subsidiary Smart Salem grew strongly in May.

The entity's sales rose by 58% last month compared with April, despite the negative effect of short weather-related disruptions

In a press release, Visiomed indicates that it will publish Smart Salem's key financial indicators for the second quarter of the year at the beginning of July, which it expects will once again be "excellent" and "in line with (its) expectations".

In addition, Smart Salem launched a number of new services in May, including new check-ups (including female hormone tests) and new vaccination services.

The company plans to offer new services this month, including consultations with dieticians, bowel health tests and electrocardiogram (ECG) screenings.

Despite these announcements, the stock was down 1.6% on Monday on the Paris Bourse.
