In 2023, Toyota Motor Manufacturing France (TMMF), based in Onnaing (59), retains its position as France's leading automotive production site. The Yaris Cross remains the most-produced car in France, all models and brands combined.

With its new production record of 273,788 units in 2023, Toyota's northern site, which produces three models on a single production line (Yaris, Yaris Cross, Mazda 2), retains the title it acquired in 2022 as the largest site in France (Inovev data).

This production record was achieved thanks to a three-shift organization (morning, afternoon, night) operating five days a week and capable of producing a car every 58 seconds.

With 200,025 units, up 24% on 2022, the Yaris Cross confirms its success for a model launched in 2021. Not only is it the most-produced car in France for the 2nd year running, but it also climbed to the top of the sales podium in a European segment (B-SUV) at the end of the year', says the group.

' The Yaris Cross is the best-selling European model for the Toyota brand, and climbs for the 3rd year running to the second step of the podium with an estimated market share of 6.1% '.
